Pierce J. Moore, Jr. '44-B

Pierce Jones Moore, Jr. '44-B recently received the Order of the Long Leaf Pine award.

It is among the most prestigious awards presented by the Governor of North Carolina, presented to individuals who have a proven record of extraordinary service to their communities. Dr. Moore has dedicated over 50 years of outstanding medical service to the Asheville, Hendersonville, and Fletcher areas.

On October 27, Dr. Moore was also the first recipient of Park Ridge Health’s “PJ Moore, Jr., MD, and Arthur Pearson, MD, Award of Excellence” in recognition of their more that 50 years of outstanding community medical service to the Hendersonville, and Fletcher areas.

The late Dr. Arthur A. Pearson was a member of Class of 1937.
