Alumni Journal Cover

Kime drew the cover for the February 1959 issue of the Alumni Journal. This is what was printed about the cover on page seven of that Journal: "Going north on State. Do you have any idea home many times you've travelled that familiar street—the connecting link—between the White Memorial and Los Angeles County hospitals? Somehow the County Hospital or State Street seem as much a part of the CME Los Angeles campus as those eight blocks over on Brooklyn and Boyle. When one approaches any of these landmarks, he begins to feel at home. Artist and alumnus Dr. S. Wesley Kime, '53-A, put the feeling on paper while an intern at CME. We now put the picture on our cover to beckon you home to CME for homecoming next month.
