The Endowment PlanThe board of directors has voted to launch a campaign to endow the Association. Why? "To do more with less." What does this mean? It means we can do MORE for our alumni, our medical students, and our School of Medicine with LESS (fewer) appeals for annual membership and reduce dues by 50%. We invite you to participate in our efforts to make this $5 million Alumni Association Endowment possible by becoming a Perpetual Member. New Perpetual Memberships and donations--cash, stock, trusts, etc.--will complete the endowment. A goal has been set to obtain 2,400 Perpetual Members. As of January 20, 2012, Perpetual Members currently number 1,674, with 1,377 Silver members; 232 Gold; 38 Platinum; 23 Diamond; 2 Double Diamond; 1 Triple Diamond and 1 Five-Star Diamond. Together, these memberships make up 95% of the $3.6 million in hand toward the $5 million goal. Together, we will "do more with less." |
